Loganair Baggage Allowance

Loganair Cabin and Carry-On Baggage Allowance

Size and Weight Policy

Loganair allows passengers to bring one cabin bag weighing 6 kg and a compact handbag, or a slim laptop bag onboard for free. Remember that you can take cabin or handbags on board as long as they are clearly labelled, weigh less than 6 kilograms, and fit beneath the seat in front of you or the overhead bin. Dimensions needed (40cm x 35cm x 18cm) On some flights, cabin luggage may be placed in the hold and returned to you at the foot of the steps upon arrival.

It would be best if you pack your important documents, cash, precious goods, medications, and computers in your cabin luggage. The airline is likewise concerned about your safety, so do not bring anything banned or dangerous into your cabin or carry-on luggage.

• Fly Flex + passengers are allowed to carry one bag up to 6kg and a compact handbag and a slim laptop bag for free.

• Fly and Fly Flex passengers can check one bag up to 6kg and a small handbag for free.

Loganair Checked Baggage Allowance

The airline’s baggage category determines the cost of checked luggage with Loganair. Passengers on the Fly and Fly Flex can check up to 20 kilograms in a single bag or multiple baggage items. Fly Flex + customers can bring up to 25 kilograms in a single bag and up to 30 kg in numerous baggage.

Single item limit – regardless of fare or paid extra luggage, the maximum weight per bag shall not exceed 25 kg.

Infants’ Luggage Allowance

Infants under the age of two who are carried on their parents’ laps do not have to pay for their luggage; however, specific airport Loganair services charge fees. You may transport infants between the ages of 6 months and two years in their forward-facing, certified car seat; however, a child ticket will be charged for a reserved seat. Loganair does not offer car seats. Children aged 6 months to 2 years old will receive a discount of 33% (taxes, fees, and levies are not reduced).

Additional information on check-in luggage

Ensure the following while checking in:

  • Your luggage is safe and securely packaged.
  • Your luggage is tagged with your complete name and destination address, and the old labeled destination has been removed.
  • Essential documents, medications, and expensive goods are not included in your checked luggage.

Loganair Excess Baggage Allowance

If there is room available, extra excess luggage will be allowed for a £10 fee. Any additional items of luggage will be charged £10. Costs will vary and will be levied at the current rate when payment is completed.

Excess luggage can be paid for by credit card, and if you want to fly with excess baggage, Loganair recommends checking in at least 20 minutes before the scheduled check-in time. If space is available, you may transport your extra luggage; but, if your excess baggage is unaccompanied and on another aircraft, you are responsible for retrieving your bags at the destination.

Loganair Baggage Restrictions

The list of prohibited goods is nearly identical for all airlines, including Loganair; it includes things that might pose a safety concern to passengers or personnel, such as sharp objects like scissors and blades of any kind. Screwdrivers, toy weapons, hypodermic needles, and sporting equipment are examples of tools and accessories. These things are not permitted in the aircraft cabin.

The following toiletries are permitted to be carried by Loganair passengers:

  • Toothpaste
  • Perfume
  • Lip gloss
  • Deodorant
  • Shave foam

Note that liquid-holding bottles or vessels must not exceed 100 mL. All products must fit easily inside a single clear, sealable bag of no more than 1 litre or roughly 20 cm * 20 cm (about the size of a small freezer bag).

The luggage must fit either in your carry-on bag or beneath the seat in front of you. However, be aware that you may be requested to produce the bag separately in the airport security line.

Sporting and Musical Instrument

Sporting equipment and musical instruments, for example, can be checked into the hold. However, only if space is available will these be accepted. Suppose no space is open on the next available aircraft. In that case, Loganair will transport the items on the next available flight, and the passenger will be responsible for picking up the equipment at the airport.

The carrying of such things is subject to a fee. Depending on the sort of object, they might be different. A £10 one-way fee, for example, is charged for golf clubs. However, each airline can only carry up to eight sets of golf clubs, which might be problematic if you are a large group travelling together.
